In 2021, with reproductive and gender affirming care under attack, the Collaborative for Gender + Reproductive Equity had an idea: an equity-centered grantmaking program to fund bold strategies and community-based projects, while encouraging cross-movement collaboration.

In 2022, we partnered with transdisciplinary strategist Mary Foyder to assemble a razor sharp team with expertise in DEI and change management, full-stack development and data security. Together, we designed and activated the Alliance Table, a movement-building initiative by CGRE. In addition to creating the Alliance Table sub-brand and visual identity, we facilitated a year-long series of co-design workshops and webinars where grassroots, state and national organizations could come together to share insights and ideas, dig into opposition strategies and brainstorm potential project proposals. We also designed and developed an ultra-secure online directory where participating nonprofits could seek and share white papers, case studies and other resources, all in the spirit of open exchange and collaboration. We helped CGRE implement an equitable RFP process, managing all communications along the way.
